Work with the Pharma Ingredients Business division (API & Excipients) to develop and implement medium- and long-term strategic objectives for the company in identified markets within Middle East & Africa.
The candidate will drive key initiatives with reference to market penetration for geographical expansion and take P&L responsibility.
The candidate will develop the supplier and customer base for the pharma ingredients business within the region.
Provide the team with accurate and timely market insights on key trends in the global marketplace.
Identify and prioritize growth markets to develop business opportunities and routes to target new customers.
Identify and build relationships with potential strategic partners.
Work toward meeting and exceeding targets in relation to revenue, margins and mix of ingredients sold.
Ensure regular contact with key accounts and conduct face to face visits and sales with desired customers.
Generate a continuous pipeline of opportunities for Pharma Ingredients business.
Work with in-house technical team to develop new products that deliver that can cater to the current and future market needs.
Maintain close relationships with internal techno-commercial team to refine existing products so that it can meet customer requirements.
Ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives.
Develop and implement strategies that will cater to the needs of pharmaceutical and food industries.
Conduct market risk analysis to identify and instate viable solutions to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Cross functional ingredients experience with pharma and food industries preferred.
