What you will doThe Business Analyst will be reporting directly to the Professional Services Director, Digital Business. You will be part of a team who is focused on harnessing the power of cloud, data analytics, the Internet of Things, and User Design thinking to deliver on the promise of intelligent buildings and smart cities that connect communities in ways that make people?s lives ? and the world ? better.?How you will do itAs an experienced Business Analyst you will be a member of solution deployment and development team and you will analyze the customer?s business domain, document its processes and systems, outline business requirements, and match the business model with the solution being built. You will specifically focus on Intelligent buildings- and Smart cities- and Connected communities solutions.You will bridge the gap between customer?s stakeholders and the solution deployment team interpreting business requirements into understandable project steps to match a final software solution with the expected business value of the customer.As a Business Analyst you will be working with customers to clarify their business idea. ?You will define the primary purpose of the future solution for the customer by researching the business problem, deciding on the expected business value, drafting non-functional requirements, preparing functional requirements, evaluating the most relevant way of implementation both from Customer and Johnson Controls prospective. You will be also responsible for planning technical or development activitiesupon defining the primary business requirements, you will run internal solution development workshops to shape the direction of the solution both for the product and the custom development components bycreating story mapping, defining the acceptance criteria, prioritizing backlog items. You will be validating requirements based on the documented business requirements, you assure compliance of the solution outcomes with a customer?s business goals by continuously monitoring the implementation during the lifecycle of the projects and also will be standardizing the solution development process.?
