Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE&CONTEXTTo optimisethe businessanditsoperatingmodel forassignedportfoliosinline withtheBusiness bestpractices andITstrategy.

• Document process information-business process mappingandrepository
• Supportfinancial controller withanalysisof processmodelsasthey are(As-is),comparethemto thefutureand improveddesigns(To-be)anddetermine the necessarychangestoachieve TOM.
• Identify,documentandanalyzebusiness rules thatgovernthe implementation of business processes.
• Write Business Process ManagementSystem(BPMS)specificationsto be used for processautomation
• Test andexecuteeprocesses using theBPMStoensurethat benefitsarerealized andachieved
• Examine processesholisticallyto understand the impact ofchangingthemonpeople,strategy, existing software applications andgeneral business operations.
• Collatefeedbackon processperformance-the basisoffuture processimprovement projects
• Monitorandmeasure theeffectiveness ofprocessestoensureconsistentvalue deliveryand supportdeliveryofnew capabilities asresult of the blueprintimplementation.
• Working withFinance community inrespective lineofbusiness
• Working with Operational Business Lines withintheRealEstate andEngineering
• Working with other transformation Business Analysts within Al Futtaim Groupas oneteam

AccountabilitiesFinanceExcellence,TransformationDesignand Implementation

• Work withFinancial Controller- Business ExcellenceinReal EstateGroup tocontribute indevelopingprocess,policiesandprocedures for the new Financestrategy, alignedto theoverall strategic goals andthe financeoperatingmodel
• Supportthe implementationoftheFinanceblueprintIstrategyinalignment withthecoreteam (FTL)acrossthegroup
• Create and support theimplementation ofPolicies,Processes and Procedure linked totheITsphere

Demand and Relationship Management

• Setup governance structures inthe respective line ofbusiness to ensureoptimal blueprint design inalignment withthebusiness andfinanceobjectives; operating model optimisation;to trackand communicateprogress, issuesandrisksmanagement
• Supportdevelopmentof operatingmodelchangesandsolutions.
• Support theimplementation of the variousstrategicfinanceinitiativesinalignmentwithbroaderdesignandbasedon agreed overall architectureprinciples

• Build detailed understandingof businessprocesses,Stage Gates operatingmodel maturityand opportunities forimprovementacross theFinancelandscapegroup-wide and within theLOB
• Identify keyopportunities,( ToBe business processes, associated business benefits, organisationimpact,etc.)
• Elicitrequirementsusinginterviews,documentanalysis,requirementsworkshops, surveys,sitevisits,businessprocessdescriptions, usecases, scenarios, businessanalysis, task and workflow analysis.
• Criticallyevaluateinformationgatheredfrommultiplesources,reconcile conflicts, decomposehigh-level information intodetails,abstractup from low-levelinformationtoageneralunderstanding,and distinguishuserrequestsfrom theunderlyingtrueneeds.

• Workcloselywith theFinancialControllerandtransformation business analystsacrossthe group toaligndesignof processes with the group-wide finance blueprint
• Leverage theexisting AFGFinanceSME knowledge
• Be the liaisonbetween the businessunits, technology teamsand supportteams.
• Supportintegrationandimplementation of new processes/processchanges intothe respective Finance functions (change management)
• Proactivelycommunicateandcollaboratewithexternal and internal customers to analyze informationneedsandfunctional requirements
