Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organizedBookkeeperto manage the financial transactions and accounts for multiple businesses across the group, as well as the private business interests of the owners. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and managing day-to-day financial activities across multiple entities. This role requires strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of bookkeeping procedures and practices.Location:Dubai, UAEEmployment Type:Full-TimePackage :Competitive salary + Visa and Medical InsuranceKey Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthlyfinancial recordsfor each business entity within the group.
  • Manage and reconcilebank accounts,credit cards, and other financial transactions across various businesses.
  • Prepare and recordinvoices, receipts, andpaymentsin a timely manner.
  • Track and manageaccounts payableandaccounts receivablefor each business.
  • Producemonthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reportsfor each business and the owners private interests.
  • Maintain and update thegeneral ledgerfor each company, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Processpayrolland maintain employee records for each business.
  • Prepare and fileVAT returnsand manage any other compliance-related tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation ofbudgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  • Monitor and report oncash flow, ensuring the financial health of each business entity.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors to ensure accurate and timely year-end closings.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-datefinancial recordsand documentation for both business and personal transactions.
  • Provide regular financial updates and reports to the owners, including tracking theirprivate investmentsandpersonal expenses.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelors degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of3+ years of bookkeeping experienceacross multiple business entities.
  • Strong knowledge ofaccounting software(e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and proficiency withMS Excel.
  • Familiarity withVAT filingandUAE accounting regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and transactions across various industries.
  • Attention to detailand high levels of accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality when handling the owners personal business interests.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
