Job Description

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Barista / Waitress to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end cafe or restaurant. The candidate should have exceptional customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista / Waitress, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, taking orders, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about coffee, knowledgeable about different brewing methods, and has a good understanding of latte art. The candidate should also have strong communication skills and be able to work well in a team. This is a full-time position, and the candidate should be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome customers and assist them in choosing their orders
  2. Take customer orders and accurately input them into the system
  3. Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
  4. Ensure all beverages are prepared according to recipes and customer preferences
  5. Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, following safety and sanitation procedures
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the coffee bar and dining area
  7. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues
  9. Upsell additional products and promote daily specials
  10. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Prior experience as a Barista / Waitress in a high-end cafe or restaurant
  2. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and latte art
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  5. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  6. Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
  7. Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  8. Ability to work well in a team
  9. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  10. Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
