Job Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate Barista with strong sales skills to join our team at our cafe and chocolatier located in the iconic Dubai Mall. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a love for crafting exceptional coffee, and possess a natural talent for customer service and sales, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and desserts, ensuring excellent presentation and taste.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge in coffee brewing techniques, equipment, and different types of beans.
  • Engage with customers warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere and personalized service.
  • Recommend and upsell products such as specialty chocolates, coffee blends, and cafe items to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and the overall cafe.
  • Manage cash registers, handle payments, and process orders efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders for supplies when necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
  • Stay updated on cafe offerings, seasonal items, and promotions to actively drive sales.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a barista in a high-end or busy cafe.
  • Strong sales experience with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
  • Passion for coffee, with a deep understanding of brewing techniques and flavor profiles.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Dubai Mall clientele and a passion for delivering top-tier service in a premium location is a plus.
