Job Description

Barista is passionate about food and beverage preparation and education. The Barista will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders and accept payments, and prepare and serve food and drinks. You will also maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area, update displays, and continuously expand your knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation.

  • Creates hot and cold coffee menu by creating menu tasting and researching new trend in the market
  • Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
  • Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
  • Sells coffees drinks and beans by explaining differences in coffee beans
  • Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks
  • Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations by Dubai Municipality.
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining the appearance of the coffee bar.
  • Be up to date with all new trend in Coffee and propose new cold, hot recipes, food, gadgets and anyway to increase brand value and enhance customer experience.
  • Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for creating new recipes and exploring opportunities to add value to the menu.
