Manage the bar operations of the hotel to ensure the achievement of established beverage quality and guest service quality standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations concerning health, safety, responsible service of alcohol, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

• To be responsible for the efficient and profitable day-to-day running of the bar operations, and Manage the beverage section.
• To be responsible for the ordering and control of all beverage stocks.
• To carry out the correct administrative procedures with regard to the orders, deliveries, and accounting for bar stocks.
• To supervise all bar colleagues, monitor performance, and ensure that colleagues at all times deliver high-quality service to the guest.
• To serve behind the bar as necessary.
• To assist external stock takers in the performance of their duties.
• To ensure that cellars are maintained to the highest standards in order to provide the guest with a high-quality product.
• To arrange appropriate staffing of the bars to meet the requirements of the service and in accordance with the instructions of the F&B Manager.
• To work flexible hours to meet the requirements of their service and to cover special functions.
• To ensure that the bar operations comply with all statutory requirements including Health & Safety, Licensing, and Food & Hygiene regulations.
• To ensure that the service is provided to the highest standards possible.
• To work in a manner, which encourages teamwork to attain targets as a matter of priority and provide appropriate products, services, and information.
• Meet all needs and requests of guests within specified time frames.
• Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service.
• Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met.
• Demonstrate trust, support, and respect towards team members in day-to-day work activities.
• Conduct communication with guests and colleagues in a polite, professional, and friendly manner.
• Practice high standards of professional presentation in accordance with grooming and presentation standards.
• To assist team members, supervisors, and managers when required.
• Works with the superior in the preparation and management of the department?s budget and is aware of financial targets.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, and leadership working in a hotel with multiple Restaurants, Bars & Events offerings. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business strategy and also have sound financial, analytical, and business acumen partnered with a proven ability to deliver on set targets. You will be a change agent with the ability to work alongside a team and collaborate with key stakeholders with a sense of urgency. Strategic thinking, the ability to explore new ways of working, and an open mind around how we can drive the hotel forward and deliver unrivaled guest journeys will be highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work with guests and champion a brand is also a must. Have a strong drive for results, am dynamic, and possess good communication skills both verbal and written. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities are required. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
