Quest Search and Selection is working with one of the biggest retailers in the Middle East, looking for looking for a Back-End Developer. You will be working in an agile, dynamic environment and will be responsible for multi-faceted software development, integration, and application builds including mobile application components.As a Back-End Developer, you will:- Write web services & APIs, and define application requirements- Develop high-performing e-commerce back-end- Perform front-end integration of end-user elements with server-side logic- Work with Front-end and other team members to align product design and objectives- Gather and analyze data as guide for troubleshooting and recommending enhancements- Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by keeping up-to-date with industry developments and trendsDesirable skills and background:- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent- Minimum 5 years experience as a back-end developer in an agile environment- Technical skills in: advanced coding, Cloud-based platforms (PaaS, SaaS), Spring Boot , Apache Kafka, Json, Gradle- A team player, with excellent problem solving and time management skills- Very good English communication skills- Arabic speaker (advantage)In return for your handwork and success, the company is willing to pay an attractive tax-free salary along with great benefits (bonus+ medical+ annual air ticket).If you feel you have what it takes to become part of this successful company, then please apply with an up to date CV.We request that candidates send their CV as a Microsoft Word document where possible.Quest Search and Selection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
