In-depth knowledge of the architectural principles and services used to develop a technical cloud strategy, review workload architectures, assist with cloud migration efforts, and guides how to address high-risk issues. Cloud architects are information technology (IT) experts responsible for the supervision of a companys cloud computing system. This involves working on cloud application designs, cloud approval plans, and systems required to manage cloud storage. Also known as a cloud developer or cloud systems administrator.Duties:

• Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable cloud environments for the organization.
• Understanding business objectives of the company and creating cloud-based solutions to facilitate those objectives.
• Moving archaic systems into the cloud for more efficiency within the organization aka digital transformation.
• Keeping cloud environments secure and preventing downtime or security breaches.
• Determining the risk associated with third-party platforms or frameworks.
• Looking for ways to improve operations within company to digitize common tasks.
• Designing, building, maintaining internal cloud applications for the organization.
• Transferring data and internal processes to cloud architecture.
• Keeping data leakage and downtime to an absolute minimum.
• Keeping up to date on best practices in cloud computing and making improvements to the cloud infrastructure of their company or organization.
• Communicating with internal teams, like Sales, Operations, and IT.
• Communicate with stakeholders and build applications to meet project needs.
• Making hardware and software recommendations for the organization, based on needs of the project and organization.

• 8-10+ years track record of DevOps work experience 
• 3-5 years in the role of Cloud Architect
• 5+ Experience with cloud ecosystems and technologies (AWS/ Azure/GCP).
• Should have hands on and good understanding on DevOps tools and automation framework
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with DevOps techniques building continuous integration solutions using Jenkins, Docker, Git, Maven
• Must have experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
• Professional experience with micro-services, containers, and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with n-tier web application development and experience in Java/Spring frameworks
• Hands on experience in at least one of the programming languages such as Scala, Python, Golang and Java etc
• Experience with Kubernetes and other container management solutions
• Must be proficient in one or more scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python
• Knowledge and experience with Linux OS
• Should have working experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, OPNET, and/or SPLUNK, or any other monitoring tools/processes
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Automation and Problem solving skills and ability to follow through to completion
• Experience coaching members in the team
• AWS CERTIFIED SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT. Other AWS certificates will be a plus
