Job Description

Job Summary Plan and supervise public awareness campaigns across taxable person segments, training programs and outreach activities and evaluate their effectiveness.?Duties & Responsibilities A) Strategic Roles

  • Direct the definition, implementation and management of Awareness and Education operational plan.
  • Oversee the overall business performance of the section and ensure that the activities remain within the overall business and operational tolerances set in company Policy.
B) Operational Roles
  • Plan and oversee the implementation of short, medium and long term awareness campaigns to promote tax literacy across taxable person segment.
  • Define and manage the implementation of effective training programmes in order to promote tax literacy to the public.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the plan for outreach activities in line with company overall and communication strategy.
  • Ensure proper coordination with relevant tax functions in order to design and develop effective outreach activities.
  • Manage the development of awareness and education contracts and, internal and external communication policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date regarding market trends, innovations and changes that may affect the cost and effectiveness of awareness campaigns.
  • Contribute to the selection of vendors (including colleges, lecturers, professors, certified resources etc.) involved in carrying out awareness and education activities for the company
  • Support the Government Communication Director in contract negotiations with vendors.
  • Oversee the effective coordination on the logistics and organisation of awareness and education events.
  • Develop and maintain active relationships with all stakeholders.
C) People Related Roles
  • Manage effective resourcing of the Awareness and Education Section.
  • Manage employee training on awareness and education-related topics, policies or procedures.
