AV Technician434 rooms, a restaurant, a bar - and all the technical devices, equipment and tiny gadgets running like clockwork. Thats your mission.We are looking for an experienced AV technician to set up and operate media equipment for live events. As an AV technician, you will be responsible for organizing and installing media equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, and sound boards. You may also be required to alter the venue layout to enhance acoustics. To ensure success as an AV technician, you should have advanced knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience with lighting and filming techniques, and excellent troubleshooting skills. What you will be doing:
  • Youll be making sure that all the equipment in the building functions all the time and, if it doesnt, that its quickly put right
  • Youll coordinate the servicing and maintenance of all technical devices, and check that all the lights are working during the hotel inspection tour
  • Youll be working in collaboration with the specialist health and safety staff, youll ensure that our staff have a safe place to work
  • Youll inspect and perform preventative maintenance on propertys facilities and equipment
  • Youll inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action
  • Youll repair, maintain and install work according to departmental procedures
  • Youll ensure the maintenance of control panels
  • Youll trouble shoot control circuits
  • Youll be able to install wiring, conducting / trunking, wiring accessories
  • Youll ensure the maintenance of Chillers, Freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils, cold rooms

  • Youve completed a course of technical training and gained your first professional experience
