Job Description

Job SummaryProcure raw, packaging and indirect materials, services & CapEx at optimum prices to deliver business a competitive edge by implementing of purchase processes & systems and ensuring strong internal customer orientation & a robust supplier relationshipRoles & Responsibilities

  • Buy materials as per business requirements and ensure continuous supply of materials (right quantity at right quality & right price) to all Business Units. Help framing Procurement Strategies to deliver Supply Chain objectives.
  • Get involved in ?Cost Optimization? Group practices and material budget preparation.
  • Ensure implementation of procurement processes and systems and work on improvement plans.
  • Spend management of key categories under guidance of Purchase Manager. Leverage on Group procurement buying.
  • Help developing ?Vendor Performance Rating? mechanism and share with the vendors and plan improvement through VPIC and Supplier Coordination meeting
  • Directly interact with key suppliers and maintain positive and effective business relationships with them in line with the business strategies.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers and ensure spend within budget
  • Ensure strong Internal Customer Relationship while dealing with various business stakeholders.

Work experience requirement5 ? 8 years of work experience in Food FMCG sectorQualification
  • MBA / Materials Management
  • For PM : A Degree from a reputed Packaging Institute
  • For IMSC: An Engineering background
