Job Description

Dubai Holding Entertainmentcurrently has an exciting career opportunity within our Assets at Roxy Cinema. We are looking to hire an Associate- Inventory Control responsible for all inventory accounting functions (i.e., Supervising inventory counts, reconciling inventory data, evaluating reports, checking discrepancies, and presenting findings).Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following):

  • Developing inventory analysis report and analyzing variances.
  • Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices.
  • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory.
  • Organizing physical count and monitor inventory.
  • Verify accurate standard costs.
  • Prepare costing report and physical count variance analysis.
  • Assisting in Inventory Accounts Payable process.
  • Work closely with IT to resolve interface issues related to inventory.
  • Reconciling inventory accounts to the general ledger.
  • Preparing monthly journal entries as needed.
