Job Description

Dubai Holding Entertainmentcurrently has an exciting career opportunity within our Assets at Roxy Cinema. We are looking to hire an Associate - Cash Control responsible for the counting, issuing, recording, and reporting of cash and credit card collections and sales.Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following):

  • Follow cash handling policies and procedures and act as Petty Cash custodian.
  • Preparing daily shortages/excesses reports for all cashiers and send to respective business managers.
  • Preparing and updating daily reconciliations of cash and credit card sales.
  • Generating, reviewing, and preparing detailed Flash report on a daily basis.
  • Prepare revenue report on a daily basis, reconcile with the system sales, do adjustments if needed.
  • Prepare Receipts and apply accordingly against Invoices.
  • Ensure safe and organized evacuation of Roxy cash control offices, according to SOP and crisis management plan.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by the management.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of Prepaid Ticket, Complimentary, school Tracker, Birthday/Event.
  • Manage complete process of cashier shortages and recovery and report to HR.
  • Spot check - Cover all cashiers in a month and random check on daily/weekly basis.
  • To process credit card and cash refunds as and when received from Operations in coordination with treasury team.
  • Petty cash replenishments and document submission.
  • Reporting weekly film rental to distributor & coordinate with the Payable team when there is any discrepancy between distributor invoice against film rental calculation.
  • Spot counts of Petty cash & cash float on weekly basis and quarterly for all sites, including reporting
