In addition to ensuring daily & period end transactions, the respective accounting activities should be performed in a timely & efficient manner.Main responsibilities:Process Suppliers invoices with 100% accuracy as per accounting standard.Book invoices PO, Non-Po and ensure compliances, VAT, WHTResolve, in collaboration with Business operations, supplier billing discrepancies and related inquiriesSupplier Payments Domestic / International, as per guidelines.Manage payments as per agreed PO terms, ensure adjustment of advances & rebateBook Advances as per agreed terms in POsMonitor Purchase Orders and liaise with procurement team for PO receipting / GRN and resolving PO discrepanciesEnsuring accuracy and quality, application of appropriate taxes / VAT on invoicesProcess accounts payable adjustments for errors or omissionsCreate and produce accounts payable related reports for management or other reviewEnsure correct liability booking and reversal every month/quarter end/year end.Help desk for internal and external requestsPerforming vendor and account reconciliations, open balances analysis and otherAP Month End Activities as per statutory requirementManage SOD compliance and internal audit/External audit requirementManage internal trainingPreferred qualifications and experiencesChartered Accountant with 3 to 4 years of experience or /CMA/MBA with 7 to 8 yr experienceSound experience in People ManagementCandidates with working experience of ERP IFS is added advantagePreference will be given to one with experience in ecommerce or manufacturing industry
