Thats The JW Treatment?.JOB SUMMARYThe mandatory in this position is responsible for supporting the Assistant Loss Prevention Manager for implementing, overseeing and monitoring all security matters and the enforcement of security policies and regulation for the protection of guests, employees, properties and classified information and from injury, damage, loss and theft.SCOPE/BUSINESS CONTEXT* A Full Time position based at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai * Number of Direct Reports - N/A * Titles of Direct Reports - N/ACANDIDATE PROFILEExperience: * 3-4 years of experience with hospitality security, Police or military * Skills and Knowledge * Computer skills * English Language * Leader shift * Well fit * Education or Certification * High school or equivalent * Dubai Police Security Officer/ Supervisor Certificate (DPS)SPECIFIC DUTIESThe following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position: * Effectively respond to concerns raised by top management, guest, and associates. * Assess performance of LP personnel. * Write and develop security policies and procedures. * Coordinate with Human resources on conducting internal investigations when necessary. * Manage the schedules of LP personnel and tracking their attendance * Conduct monthly trainings, holding safety committee when LP manager is not available. * Assist with updating and revising the emergency response plan. * Maintaining a record of incident uploaded into MIRA, and Analyzing monthly incidents & complaints. * Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. * Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. * Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. * Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel. * Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury. * Support to all entered departments in case of needed. * Patrolling to all hotel premises including internal area of event and reporting all the suspicious and security gape to the LP & MOD. * Meet and greet Royal families Guests. * Responsible of retrieving all the information about the VIP guest and the entire preparation of the VIP arrival (Checking the rooms, know what the guest likes etc.) * Responsible of dealing with the police or any government department as needed during duty hours. * Complies with applicable federal, state and local law and safety regulations. * Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. * Supervises and reviews initial incident investigations and promote timely responses for all reported incidents. * Follows proper key control guidelines in loss prevention and in the property. * Assists with promotion and implementation of accident and fire prevention procedures. * Incorporates into patrols, which encompass all areas of the propertys interior and exterior, an inspection tour of recording system. * Follows up on all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the wellbeing of guests and employees. * Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiates with others. * Promotes action plans to monitor and control risk. * Oversees all loss prevention operations to include but not limited to patrol process, emergency response, investigations (initial and follow up) for all guest and employee related incidents, shipping and receiving process (makes recommendations for improvement), electronic key system and manager on duties responsibilities. * Assists with first aid program for guests and employees. * Assists with the claims process and protects company assets by closely monitoring the General Liability and Workers Compensation cases. * Works closely with Meeting Planners to facilitate a successful and safe experience for guests.OTHERSafety and Security: * Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. * Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. * Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft. Guest Relations: * Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process (e.g., LEARN, JW Symphony of Service) to resolve issues, delight, and build trust. * Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service. * Anticipate guests service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible. * Address guests service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. * Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings. * Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell. * Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guests name when possible. * Supply guests/residents with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
