Whilst they are with us we give tempting recommendations of our favourite drinks or food, or tips for local experiences that they won?t find in any guide book.As an Assistant Housekeeping Manger, you are responsible for the execution of all standards of operation of all the Housekeeping functions in Guestrooms, offices and public areas, including corridors and stairwells. Maintain standards of cleanliness in all areas under his/her control and ensure working rules and practices are being followed.Assistant Housekeeping Manager will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  1. Inspect rooms and public areas as well as VIP rooms prior to arrival to ensure standards are maintained.
  2. Inspect regular random rooms for each supervisor on the shift.
  3. Monitor evening shift operations whenever possible
  4. Investigate any complaints to ensure Guest satisfaction is maintained
  5. Prepare work schedules on a daily basis and prepare the weekly schedule whilst being fair to all Employees to ensure efficient manning levels are maintained during operation
  6. Monitor the usage of chemicals and requisition of Housekeeping supplies and prepare a monthly activity report in order to monitor and save costs
  7. Inform the Engineering Department about rooms for spring cleaning as well as repairs and maintenance work to the Engineering Department and maintain a room history record
  8. Identify training needs based on the daily inspection for Attendants and Supervisors and create a plan for OJT.
The ideal candidate will be a well presented, with an outgoing and friendly attitude. With Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major certifications.With at least 3 to 4 years experience in luxury hotel international chain in same position or similar role
