Job Description

The Assistant Facility Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities within the real estate and construction sectors. This position involves supporting the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to effectively liaise with contractors, vendors, and tenants.Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the management of facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  2. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of service requests.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
  4. Support the development and implementation of facility management policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory management.
  6. Assist in budgeting and financial management related to facility operations.
  7. Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  9. Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning.
