Job Description

Job Summary:As an Assistant Cook, you will work alongside the culinary team to prepare and cook delicious and high-quality dishes in a timely manner. Your role will involve assisting with food preparation, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and supporting the Head Chef in various culinary tasks.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, cutting, and measuring.
  • Follow established recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Cook and plate food items according to specifications provided by the Head Chef.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Assist in storing food properly and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Support the Head Chef in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
