Job Description

Dubai Holding Entertainmentcurrently has an exciting career opportunity within our Assets at Roxy Cinema. We are looking to hire an Assistant Cinema Manager responsible for providing and managing courteous and professional guest service to cinema guests and support the Cinema Manager in all areas as well as holding overall responsibilities of shift operations and safety.Key Accountabilities (Includes, but not limited to the following):

  • To display a friendly, helpful, and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with our guests and fellow team members to support Roxy Cinemas operations.
  • Assists the Cinema Manager in day-to-day operations of all aspects of Roxy Cinemas
  • Ensures security of cash, ticket stubs, stock, and equipment in Roxy Cinemas.
  • Performs any other duties as required by the Cinema Manager and acts as a backup for Cinema Manager in his absence
  • Conducts daily inspections in the cinema and preventive maintenance
  • Operates automated ticketing system.
  • Provides support and participate with cinema advertising and promotional events as required
  • Supervises the GSAs in all guests facing positions and back of house areas.
  • Assists the Assistant Cinema Manger with staff scheduling and in training of all GSA and external contractors
  • To listen actively to our guest feedback, requests, and concerns in order to take action in an ethical, effective and timely manner to exceed expectations.
  • To ensure the enforcement of Roxy Cinema rules and provide crowd control in an efficient manner throughout the areas as necessary to ensure the guest`s safety and an enjoyable experience.
  • To provide guidance and support of all events and in the preparations of the facility space for special functions, themed evenings, and private screenings.
  • Anticipates issues, prioritizes, and plans teams and own tasks well to ensure they are completed within set deadlines
  • Ensures, follow, implement, and train on HACCP procedures
  • Proactive on dealing in issues related to staff and guests
  • Flexibility of hours is required due to operational needs of the business
