Job Description

Overview of the roleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Branch Accountant to join our team at the TY & LX Showroom and Workshop. This role involves providing crucial support to the Finance Business Partner (FBP) ? Retail and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes for both Toyota and Lexus. What you will do

  • Manage revenue collection, including cash, credit card, cheque payments, and online transfers
  • Ensure timely posting and scanning of cheques, and maintain daily collection and petty cash funds
  • Monitor insurance limits for cash collection and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Handle petty cash management, including posting documents and customer cash refunds
  • Supervise cash and cheque transactions, ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Reconcile daily RTA eWallet transactions and manage eWallet cash float
  • Oversee accounts receivables management, including monitoring branch AR reports and reconciling credit customer accounts
  • Perform financial transactions, process invoices, and ensure all relevant documentation is complete
  • Support and guide matrix managers, sales team, and sales admin
  • Conduct financial reporting, cost monitoring, and internal controls
