// DESIGNATION : ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT // ? Post and process data entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded ? Handle petty cash and other day-to-day transactions ? Provide quick support to sales department ? Regular review of payments received, confirmation to the customers and allocation of payments once details are received from customers. ? Support monthly closing activities by booking all receipts, credit notes and petty cash vouchers before the deadlines.? Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed ? Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports ? Assist Senior Accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings ? Assist with audit and other accounting projectsAccountant Skills and Qualifications:Accounting, Corporate Finance, Cash Flow Statement, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, hands on experience with accounting Software packages (i.e. QuickBooks, Tally, IMOS), Confidentiality, Time Management, Awareness of business trends.Requirements:? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting of Finance, CPA, CA ? Min 1 yr ? 3 years relevant work experience in the UAE// DESIGNATION : ACCOUNTANT //Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.? Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports? Develop and maintain financial data bases, ensuring it is maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures? Prepare financial management reports including projecting cash flow requirements, estimate and analysis.? Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close statements and records as required by the management. ? Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, including debtors and creditors adding report. ? Monitor and support taxation issues/maintain the company s VAT records and ensure they are always fully up to date ? Liaise with auditors to ensure all compliances are duly complied on timely basis. Completing Audit and other requirements within 1 month from the end of the financial closure. ? Liaise with Bankers and prepare finance report CMA Data for availing credit lines for the company. ? Manage international credit lines, letters of credit and corporate guarantees.? Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues? Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems? Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management as needed ? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Accountant Skills and Qualifications:Accounting, Corporate Finance, Cash Flow Statement, Reporting Skills, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, hands on experience with accounting Software packages (i.e. QuickBooks, Tally, IMOS), Confidentiality, Time Management, Awareness of business trends.Requirements:? Chartered Accountant / international CPA/ MBA in Finance? 3-4 years relevant work experience in the UAE or other similar jurisdiction.? *Basic understanding of Shipping Industry will be preferred.
