As an Assistant accommodation manager, you are responsible for overseeing all accommodation operations to deliver an excellent team member?s experience. An assistant accommodation manager will also be required to evaluate team satisfaction and set department targets and objectives. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards * Oversee accommodation operations* Evaluate team member?s satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement* Operate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well-managed schedules* Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures* Inspect, regularly, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to standards.* Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the accommodation team with an emphasis on training and teamwork* Ensure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities* Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers* Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated* Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures* Assist human resources team wherever necessary* Manage the arrivals, stays and departures of team members in the accommodation.* Ensure cleanliness and move in ready status for all employee housing units* Ensures any housing requests that are received from departments are reviewed and approved by the Human Resources Team prior to responding or placing an individual in employee accommodation.* Conducts preventative maintenance inspections as needed.* Communicates any accommodation conduct issues immediately to the Team Housing & Employee Relations Manager* Receives maintenance requests and coordinates repairs and scheduling* Meets regularly with the Team Housing & Employee Relations Manager and Human Resources Manager to ensure good communication and proper planning and preparation An Assistant Accommodation Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Team Members.
