Job Description

Our client is looking for someone who has excellent reading/writing/spoken skills in both English and Arabic (native Arabic). Work effectively with the commercial side of the business balancing legal requirements with business needs and at all times mitigating risk and protecting the interests of the organization. Only candidates from the financial services sector will be considered or someone who has worked in a recognized law firm with financial services experience. Excellent government benefits are offered.Description:

  • Responsibility for managing all legal obligations of the organisation including advising on corporate and commercial law, contractual and strategic transactions, public exposures and associated risks for the organisation
  • Provide expert legal advice on all local and international laws affecting the organization and its operations. Seek external legal advice as required
  • Responsible for all contract and document reviews and insurance policy reviews
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with law firms and advisors
  • Expert, timely, high quality legal advice is provided to the business referring to relevant laws to meet business needs
  • Renew and negotiate legal agreements to achieve commercial objectives and mitigate risk.
  • Timely renewal of contracts and insurance policies
  • Establish working relationships with regional and international law firms
  • Negotiating cost structures, fee quotes, and services agreement terms and conditions relating to the business
