Job Description

SummaryGridModal and our technology partners are looking for an applied cryptographer. You will study, innovate, and prototype new technologies in secure computing, communications, and storage areas, and ultimately work to apply and transfer such technologies to real?world projects and systems. You will serve as a key member of a highly talented and dynamic international development team that will develop state-of-the art secure cryptographic technologies for applications across different aspects of smart city infrastructure.Duties

  • Serve as a lead member of the Cyber Security Engineering Group; understand and convey the connection between cryptography and multi-layered cyber security approaches.
  • Ability to code and develop software. You should have experience with at least one major language, like Python, Java, or C; the exact language is not too important.
  • Adopt a holistic approach to design and implement robust features yielding solid foundations for end-to-end security.
  • Propose innovative security IPs, challenge them against state of the art and review them with peers.
  • Ability to read and interpret academic papers on new cryptographic techniques.
