The application engineer will take complete end to end responsibility along with the sales team for any customer enquiry/order/coordination and support the direct sales team through the following:Enquiries & submittals:Studying the technical details of the enquiry and keeping track to ensure timely completion of the quotations and any escalations pertaining to missing information, manufacturer support(if required) to be responded in a timely manner.Responsible for regular update of enquiries in the system.Coordinate directly with manufacturers and customers pertaining to technical support if required.Preparing Compliance as per the required Consultant specifications.Preparing Technical submittals as per the Consultant requirements.Prepare technical presentations that explain products and services to customersOrder processing: Prepare BOQ Sheet (Bill of Quantity), Costing sheets & releasing to our purchase team. & Service to other staff members regarding the use, Operation & maintenance of equipment.Prepare Sales Order & Proforma / Sales Invoices for the equipment.To ensure orders received are processed on time and any obstacle faced to be immediately escalated to ensure customer delivery/commitment is not delayed.To send order acknowledgement to customers with the terms and conditions and follow up.Follow up with supply chain to ensure Back-to-Back orders are sent on time and delivery commitments to be adhered to.Keep track of existing orders and ensure any delays which are anticipated is communicated to the sales team and further to the customer.Customer complaints and misc. Coordination: Any warranty/service complaints received to be treated with utmost priority and ensure resolution is achieved in Coordination with service team.Any other misc. tasks assigned such as sample track, raising Demand planning reports to give a forecast for stock required.Strength :To provide the best possible solution # Make single point contacts to contractor / client / Consultant assess equipment / system requirements and to understand customer needs.
