The Application Assurance Lead is responsible for leading the management of the Application Assurance function. He or she focuses on ensuring quality, governing risk and compliance through robust change and release managementPrincipal AccountabilitiesStrategy/Governance ?Provides inputs in developing / updating / revising quality management policies and procedures?Provides inputs in developing / updating / revising change and release management policies and proceduresOperational ?Accountable for ensuring risks associated with quality of delivery is effectively managed through robust IT service management and IT security processes?Owns the change, knowledge and configuration management processes within IT and their effective operation. Participates in release management and ensures transition to support is timely and supports the needs of the Business?Accountable for ensuring Application Assurance team meets its obligations with respect to software licences, including house-keeping of procured software licenses, ensuring software usage obligations are consistently met, identification and removal of unlicensed software where required?Oversees and manages the day-to-day activities of the Application Assurance team and manages key stakeholder relationships within IT?Ensures agreed Application Assurance service levels are met and develops robust plans to address performance issues where requiredFinancial Management ?Provide inputs into the GIT annual budget from an applications assurance perspective
