Job Description

Application AnalystDubaiWe are currently hiring for an Application Analyst, on behalf of a European Software Vendor for their Dubai office. You will support their elite customers within one of their project teams and identify potential solutions for warehouse management systems for various stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st / 2nd level support for a customer applications suite, escalating to hotline supervisor where necessary, on-call staff, software development, technology teams, end users or third parties as appropriate.
  • Respond to general questions and trouble tickets in a timely manner.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.
  • Prioritize multiple, open issues and document issue triage as troubleshooting progresses.
  • Participate in 24x7 support coverage to cover any shift on a pro-rata basis.
  • Follow best practices for change control of proposed solutions and document actionable bugs for resolution.
  • Deployment of applications fixes patches, upgrades, and improvements.
  • Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
