Job PurposeTo carry out activities related to the assigned airside areas on shift, ensuring safe on time quality service delivery to customer airlines, in line with dnatas standards & procedures.Job Outline:Generic Accountabilities:- Applies departmental policies, processes, procedures in day-to-day operations adapting to any changes in the established standards and procedures.- Implements day-to-day operations assigned and ensures compliance with the established standards and procedures- Ensures that all equipment and devices are used and cared for appropriately and escalate/forward for maintenance/repair as required.- Escalates issues to the Supervisor to ensure that the proper corrective measures are followed up on.- Assists in manual handling activities when required.- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.- Ensures that safety briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is risk exposure, role model safe behaviours and follows up on corrective actions.- Maintains appropriate records and documentation for the shift in the assigned area. Specific Accountabilities:Airside Agent (ULD Customer Desk)- Actions email correspondence with Airline Customers and third party organisations (including queries regarding ULD tracing). - Handles communications/coordinates with other core operational areas. - Monitors & Notifies Airline Customers of damage/unserviceability to ULDs and ensure details are updated in the NOMAD system. - Receives ULD requirements for departure cargo & baggage build-up from airlines/other dnata business departments and. communicate same to concerned Airside Agents. - Where serviceable empty ULDs have to be forwarded on departure flights as requested by airline, ensuring Load Control, & UWS Manifesting Team is copied on the email planning. Record ULD numbers/flight number in NOMAD System. - Monitors AACS and follow up with Aircraft Turnaround Teams to confirm if empty ULDs (including stacks) planned on the flight are received and if not coordinate with concerned Airside Agents for immediate recovery/corrective action.Airside Agent (ULD UCM Desk)- Dispatches ULD control message to airline/relevant addresses for every arrival and departure flight. Target to dispatch the in/out of the UCM: By ETA/ETD +- 120mins for long haul flights. And ETA/ETD +-60mins for the short haul flights or (GCC sectors). (EK, OAL and Truck UCM). - Ensures accuracy of the UCM details (including stack pallet details) in NOMAD in reference to ULD statement, Cargo Truck ULD statement & Cargo Agent Transfer report. - Updates damaged/unserviceability ULD in system whenever identified and update the Airside Agent (ULD Customer Desk). - Creates LUC (Leased ULD Control) message related to the ULD transfers between Airline or Third party ULD providing companies.Qualifications & ExperienceQualification: - High School with a Certificate ( 12 years of schooling) OR DiplomaExperience: - High School with a certificate: 2-4 years of experience in in ground handling - Diploma degree: 0-2 years of experience in ground handlingKnowledge and Skills: - UAE Driving Licence in order to gain ADP to operate equipment - Proficient knowledge in systems DACS+ , CAMSYS - Proficient understanding of Customer SLA - Proficient understanding of dnatas airport operations KPIs - English Language Skills Level 4 - Proficient Supervisory Skills - Proficient Communication Skills - Basic Quality Orientation Skills - Proficient Safety Awareness Skills - Proficient Writing Skills
