Job Description

Job PurposeJoin us and become a part of one of the most technically advanced apprenticeship schemes available within the GCC and approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). This GCAA CAR 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (AMEL) programme prepares UAE nationals for positions within our aircraft maintenance departments. You will have the opportunity to train in our state-of-the-art facilities, mentored by experienced engineering instructors and licensed aircraft engineers while learning to maintain our dynamic fleet. On successful completion of the programme, you will receive a Certificate from Emirates Engineering Training College and will be registered in Emirates Aviation University receiving Higher Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering attested by KHDA.The programmes duration is approximately five years and is divided into two main phases:First phase: will be in Emirates Engineering Training College which will include Theoretical and Practical Training elements.Second Phase (Practical Maintenance Experience): will provide maintenance experience exposure on live aircrafts which will be logged in an appropriate logbook. After successful completion of the programme and meeting all the requirements, you will be eligible to apply for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence issued by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).Qualifications & ExperienceRequirements:Candidate should hold a valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid.18 - 24 years old.High school overall grade 80% and above. Ministry of Education attestation is required for certificates.High School Math / Physics Grades 75% and above.Minimum IELTS overall score band 6.Medically Fit.National service clearance status.Recruitment Process:Assessment for Math & Physics test score should be 75% and above.Interview.Medical test.
