Accounting ManagerPosition: Accounting ManagerLocation: UAEIndustry: Aviation Group of CompaniesJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic aviation group of companies based in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a professional accounting qualification and have a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience. Qualified accountants and auditors are preferred for this role.Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure their professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Analyze and review monthly reports, providing suggestions, identifying variations, and determining their causes.
