Job Description

Position Title:AccountantEmployment Type:Full-timeSalary:ÿup to 10K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualificationsJob Location:Fujairah, UAEÿAbout the Client:A strongÿglobal group, leading the manufacturing and trading of petrochemical product based in Fujairah, UAEÿJobÿDescription:

  • Responsible for preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, tailored to the industrys reporting standards and regulations.
  • Track and analyse costs related to exploration, drilling, production, transportation, and refining of oil and gas. This includes allocating costs to specific projects or wells.
  • Deal with complex revenue recognition processes, often based on production volumes, sales contracts, and fluctuating commodity prices.
  • Manage tax liabilities and the tax incentives and complexities that can vary by location. Accountants work to optimize tax strategies while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure that financial practices and reporting adhere to industry-specific regulations and accounting standards, such as those set by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) or the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
