AccountantKey Responsibilities:?Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.?Assist in accounts payable and receivable management, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.?Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts regularly.?Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary guidelines.?Process and record financial transactions related to inventory, procurement, and sales.?Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.?Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.?Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.?Generate financial reports and assist in analyzing company financial performance.Requirements:?Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably within a distribution company.?Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE financial regulations (including VAT).?Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).?Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.?Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.?Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.?Good communication skills in English.?Immediate availability to join the team.Job location: Dubai
