Accountant Job Description:? Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations andprocedures, including the Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples (GAAP).? With experience in bank/general ledger reconciliation,balance sheet preparation, accountspayables/receivables, Purchase Orders, Invoices.? Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.? Proficient in MS Office, Quick books and other Accountingrelated software.? Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closingand cost accounting reports.? Work on Accounts Receivable and Payable.? Monthly settlement and verification of creditors/suppliers bills.? Assist with other accounting activities.? Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivottables.? Sound knowledge of IFRS.? Knowledge on Import and Export.? Exposure to an ERP System (Oracle, Microsoft etc.).? Qualification: Accounting, Finance or relevant degree? Additional certification (CPA/ ACCA / CMA / CA)
