* Graduate Electrical or Mechanical engineer.* Knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, procedures and techniques.* Good technical engineering background and loss prevention skills.* Other working languages would be an advantage.* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (English).* Strong analytical skills.* Highly motivated and work well without close supervision.* Ability to make decisions with and without established guidelines* Ability to work within a team environment and to lead insurance surveys in the field.* Ability to provide technical support to underwriters & clients. * Ability to deliver survey reports and account reviews on-time.* Able to undertake international travel for up to 90 days per year* Must be able to perform physical activities required for the position (i.e., be on feet and walking 8-10 hours a day, climbing ladders, being at high elevations)* Must be able to type at a computer for 8 hours a day with 3 or 4, 15 minute breaks doing other work and a lunch break interspersed.* Must be able to wear safety equipment required for the position (hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection)* Extensive industrial experience (10 years or more) in power plant or within a boiler/gas turbine or electrical transformer manufacturer.* HSE or maintenance experience.* Knowledge of nuclear, renewable power generation facilities.* Experience of power generation design/construction projects.* Previous experience of working for a major insurance carrier or broker.
