Job Description

As an Account and Finance Expert, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our projects and ensuring the overall financial health of the company. You will report directly to the director and collaborate closely with project managers, executives, and other stakeholders to drive financial success.Responsibilities:1. Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting:

  • Develop and oversee financial budgets and forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of potential contracts and projects, considering factors such as costs, revenues, and financing options.
  • Provide regular financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the companys financial strategy and long-term financial planning.
2. Cash Flow Management and Cost Control:
  • Manage and optimize the companys cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for project needs.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoicing and payment collection.
  • Implement cash flow forecasting and cash management strategies to minimize financial risks.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure profitability and adherence to financial goals.
5. Risk Management:
  • Assess financial risks associated with projects and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with legal and insurance teams to ensure appropriate coverage for potential liabilities.
  • Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure necessary financing and credit facilities (if needed).
6. Tax and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards in the UAE.
  • Work with tax advisors to optimize the companys tax position and minimize tax liabilities.
7. Audit and Internal Controls:˙˙˙˙˙˙? Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial records.˙˙˙˙˙˙? Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.8. Reporting to Authorities:˙˙˙˙˙˙?˙˙˙˙˙Submit required financial reports and documentation to government authorities and regulatory bodies in the UAE.9. Vendor and Supplier Management:˙˙˙˙˙˙?˙˙˙Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize payment terms and terms of trade.
