Job Description

Academic SecretaryJob Location : UAEDuties & Responsibilities:•Provide administrative support to the academic staff, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.•Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records, including student files, attendance records, and grade reports.•Assist in the preparation and distribution of academic materials, such as syllabi, exams, and course schedules.•Coordinate and organize school events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.•Serve as a point of contact for students, parents, and staff regarding academic inquiries and issues.•Manage the academic calendar, including scheduling classes, exams, and other important dates.•Assist in the enrollment and registration processes, ensuring all required documentation is collected and processed.•Support the implementation of academic policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with school regulations.•Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.Requirements:•Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field.•Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience in an academic setting, preferably within the UAE.•Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.•Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with academic management systems.•High level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.•Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
