Job Description

United Arab EmiratesÿMay 2, 2023ÿContract ÿFull timeOur client is a Telecom Company in UAE. They are now looking for a AC Mechanic to join them.ÿRoles & Responsibilities:

  • The objective of this requirement is to reduce the SKU ( Stock Keeping Unit) varietyÿof MRO items through standardization / Unification & Specification rationalization without compromising on the products design integrity. The given scope is aroundÿ500K lineÿitems.ÿFollowing are the high level expectations.
  • Review MRO items ( Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation)ÿof respective category
  • Analyze , Identify and prioritize material items based on the inventory aspects likeÿDemand/ Consumption frequency ,spend value , No of transactions etc. ( Our analyst will support to do this)
  • Provide mandatory fields/ parameters for the respective category / subcategory to enable the material data for procurement.
  • Provide your inputs to develop a strategy for standardization/ Spec rationalization for the respective category
  • Provide ideas of standardization/ Spec rationalization for the respective categories / subcategories with proper justification / TCO analysis
  • It is expected to conduct workshop with the client engineering and relevant stakeholders to validate the Standardization / Spec rationalization ideas to proceed with implementation
  • Provide training to the client stakeholders on standardization / spec rationalization
  • Above review shall also include material attributes that does not comply to design, dimensional, or metallurgical standards and propose nearest equivalent.
