Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and preparing financial statements for our company. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare financial statements and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  2. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
  4. Reconcile bank statements and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
  6. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  7. Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during financial audits.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
  9. Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
  2. Bachelors degree in finance, and accounting.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Experience with financial audits and preparing audit schedules.
