Unit Manager / Camp Boss (offshore)

Job Description

We are looking for Unit Manager / Camp Boss for our Company to support and manage the offshore vessels. Specific responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:? Responsible for supporting the operations in managing and supporting the fleet of around 20 offshore vessels (around 60 staffs & 500 man-day?s) ? To maintain the monthly budget/expenses for allocated vessels? Validation of food requisition from each vessel based on the approved budget ? Guide & challenge chief cook on costings/requisitions? Follow up with crewing/HR crew changes as required? Follow-up with Logistics dept for container dispatch as required? Small equipment?s request/purchase & budget management? Follow-up with purchase for delivery of small equipment?s ? Periodic HSE inspection & follow-up for closure? Coordinate & mobilize allocated newly chartered vessels? Cross verification of stock on board & validation ? Build & maintain relationship with allocated vessel captains & to address the concerns on a timely basis? Performance evaluation of staffs/recommendation for promotion/training based on the performance & feedback received? Address & follow-up of staffs requests/Concerns such as cash advance etc.? Spot audits of supplies done to vessels.? Monthly review of results with OM & Logistics & Internal controllerCandidates profile? Must have minimum five years? experience in managing the offshore locations? Must have a Bachelors Degree / Diploma? Preferred candidates with Qatar Driving license ? Strong verbal and oral communication skills? Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills.? Strong problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.? Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.
