Job Description

Job Summary:As the Project Management Analyst at gategroup, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective project delivery and the successful execution of strategic initiatives. In this role you will monitor, review, and steer strategic projects, and pinpoint risks and opportunities that align with our groups strategy. You will collaborate with various departments, including Culinary Operations, Catering Production, Finance, Planning, Supply Chain and QACC Academy, which is essential to drive excellence, innovation, and profitability in the aviation catering industry. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic vision of the PMO, aligning project efforts with the companys overall goals and objectives.
  • Manage the effective project delivery of diverse projects across various departments including Culinary Operations and Catering Production, ensuring sound financial management, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Ensure value creation by identifying project upsides and ensuring teams adhere to budgets.
  • Collaborates with the Planning & Supply Chain department to optimize logistics, procurement, and supply chain management within project frameworks.
  • Supports the QACC Academy to ensure the continuous development and training of teams involved in project management.
  • Coordinates with other functional areas, such as finance, planning, supply chain, and culinary operations, to align project strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all project activities.
  • Prepares QACC for the exponential growth expected in the next 5 years.
  • Ensures the current continuous average production of 142 thousand meals per day while maintaining gategroup and QACC standards.
Qualifications:Education:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
  • Background in the aviation or hospitality industry, with knowledge of catering operations being advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to business or transformation functions is an advantage.
  • Experience in M&A, process optimization or restructuring is a plus.
  • Proven track record in leading projects in a multifaceted business environment.
Language / Communication Skills:
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken. Other languages an advantage.
