Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing legal support and expertise related to real estate matters in Qatar. This includes advising on real estate transactions, property laws, contracts, and regulatory compliance. Will work closely with the legal team and business stakeholders to ensure that real estate activities align with the organizations objectives and are conducted in accordance with Qatari legal requirements.Legal Consultation:? Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, construction and development.? Interpret and ensure compliance with local real estate laws and regulations in Qatar.Contract Drafting and Review:? Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements related to real estate including without limitation Contracting, Sales & Purchase and Lease agreement.? Ensure that contractual terms protect the organizations interests and comply with legal requirements.Due Diligence:? Conduct due diligence and title searches on real estate properties to assess their legal status and potential risks.? Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations.Transaction Support:? Assist in the structuring and execution of real estate transactions, including the preparation of transaction documentation before all related Governmental & Non- Governmental entities and coordination with external parties.? Ensure all regulatory and legal approvals are obtained.Legal Research:? Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices in Qatar.? Conduct legal research to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.Dispute Resolution:? Assist in the resolution of real estate disputes, which may include negotiations, mediation, or, if necessary, litigation.? Collaborate with external legal counsel when needed.Documentation and Compliance:? Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation related to real estate transactions.? Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Stakeholder Collaboration:? Collaborate with internal teams, including real estate, finance, and operations, to address legal issues and provide guidance.? Build strong working relationships with external legal partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.Legal Training and Awareness:? Conduct training and awareness programs for staff to ensure a good understanding of legal matters in real estate activities.? Advise on risk management and best practices.Confidentiality and Ethics:? Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain the highest ethical standards.Other Tasks Assigned by Manager? Be adaptable and open to handling a variety of legal tasks and projects as assigned by your manager.
