Electrical Engineer - Aviation

Employment: Full Time The opportunityThe role is to direct and oversee electrical engineering projects at construction sites, resolve issues, and ensure that work is completed according to specifications.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting in the conducting fieldwork and at times take the lead in this effort.Working with the project manager/ in charge in the preparation of detailed personnel loading by task interfaced with the detailed schedule.Assisting in the preparation of storyboards and detailed project timelines.Assisting in the coordination of all the disciplines involved - interface with LV/HV, all other services such as civil, mechanical and plumbing.Evaluating the efficiency of electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.Confirming the systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods and testing properties.Assuring the product quality by designing electrical testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities.Preparing product reports by collecting, evaluating, interpreting and summarising information and trends.Estimating the project timescales, as well as material, construction and labour costs.Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
