JOB PURPOSE:?Assistant security manager assists the security manager in overseeing all aspects of the Security Department. He is in charge of developing security measures and assuring the overall security of all members of the organization.?Duties??Coordination of security operations, as well as managing, training, and assessing performance of the entire security personnel.?Assistant security managers help in writing and developing security policies and procedures for the security department,? Oversee all necessary training modules and procedures for security staff.?Monitor all unauthorized vandalism and removal of property,?Review and report accidents that happened within the city.?Inspect all areas for safety and fire hazard; and file reports on safety precautions and mitigation plans to secure the city .?Conducting internal investigations when necessary.?Providing decent service, managing the schedules of security personnel and tracking their attendance.?To solve practical problems quickly and efficiently when the need arises.?Handle paperwork and fill out reports for management.?Communicate well and be suspicious with all activities happening inside the establishment at all times.?Respond to questions and concerns raised by top management, customers and security staff as well as.?Conduct risk assessments, on monthly bases and report the output.?Developed and administered all information technology according to security policies and programs.?Investigated various contingency plans and analyse all risks.?Train and guide Security staff and ensure compliance to security policies.?Objectives?Ceating Site Security Instruction?Creating Post instructions for each post secured by the internal or the contracted guard force?Creation of monthly Service feedback report assuring for examples the measures of time and attendance for each shift, Guard force appearances, guard force attitude, contractors comply with contract terms and conditions?Creation of access control policy for all entrance/exits of the city, include physical zone, time zone etc.?Revise and report the findings of the emergency plans, for example, evacuation, bomb threat, fire, etc.?Creation of quarterly training program based on the finding of the monthly service feedback report?Creation of patrolling program for security guards
