• End to end ownership of data engineering delivery that will involve people management and technical delivery ownership to lead multiple scrum teams in the Finance Data domain space
• Seasoned Technical Leader with at least 15 years of delivery experience in big data, database and data warehouse architecture and delivery
• Extensive experience in designing solutions and services in Spark, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Hive, HDFS Kafka, Redis etc
• Solution / Technical architecture in the cloud - Big Data/Analytics/Information Analysis/Database management in the cloud
• Hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Synapse, Azure Storage, Azure Data Catalogue, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure SQL DB/DW, Cosmo Db, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes, CI/CD etc.
• Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration considerations
• Strong in Microservices and API development and build service catalogue by using API best practices such as identity, logging, monitoring etc
• Strong in data management, data ingestion, capture, processing and curation: Kafka, Stream Sets, Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, etc
• Strong in DEVOPS process and tools and strong understanding of CI/CD development cycle
• Ability to perform design and code reviews and work closely with the scrum teams
• Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery
• Work proactively, independently and with global teams to drive the engineering principles across Finance Data delivery
• Work with the Functions architecture team to drive the cloud journey of Finance data applications which would involve re-engineering of existing design
