  • Responsible for development of assigned Modules
  • Understand 3GPP specification and prepare the design document
  • Responsible for implementation of the design
  • Responsible for troubleshooting/supporting the issues
  • Support in automation of the test features/test cases
  • Drive/Participate Quality improvement action in own area
  • Being compliant to all the R&D tools and process in day to day work
  • Co-ordinate with all the stakeholders as and when required for meeting the objectives
  • Support RCA/EDA activities within the specified area
  • Provide guidance and support for other team members in the areas of technical problems, process and operations
  • Define and clarify the requirements related to implementation of new features
Qualification
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering
  • 7+years of working experience in Design/Architecture/Specifications at entity or system level in 2G/3G/4G/5G
Skills Required:
  • Excellent know how in 3GPP specification L1 layer
  • Experience of design and implementation of the physical layer ?Freescale DSP/ FPGA platform
  • Experience in multi core design and implementation
  • Domain knowledge in at least one of the following areas is preferred - L1 receiver algorithms, Signal Processing, Simulations using MATLAB or equivalent tool
  • Expertise in CPU performance optimisation pipeline processing memory optimisation, ASM level code optimisation for DSP development (Lionfish, CEVA, TI, Freescale) preferred
  • Good understanding of the processing requirements , design flow and process.
  • Solid background in cellular networks and good understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G technology.
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Good understanding of the design flow and SDLC
  • Good understanding of configuration management ( GIT/GERRIT/SVN ), Agile process
  • Good know how of simulator tools & interpretation of simulation results.
  • Good spoken and written technical English
