• Oversees the work of project teams to deliver solution or infrastructure development services for the most complex or multiple projects, being accountable for the quality of development outputs
• Takes accountability for the design, development, delivery and maintenance of a suite of solutions or infrastructure and drives the development of relevant standards
• Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development and vendor strategy

Your key responsibilitiesYour key responsibilities

• As an Architect & Technologist at EY Client Technology, you will be in the thick of things! You will work on the most difficult & fun phases of engineering, including:

• Should be able to design architecture, recommend DB designs for SaaS, Multitenant applications.
• Should be able to communicate best practices, roadmaps and deployment plans to business, development teams and stakeholders.
• Should be able to provide comparison between various tools on hana modelling and analytics and share recommendations.
• Ability quickly turn PoC into industry grade products/solutions. Should be able work across varied technologies.
• Design and review the architecture of enterprise applications leveraging industry best practices and design patterns to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work with product owners, architects and business analysts to translate requirements to technical solutions.
• Evangelize re-use through implementation of shared assets across multiple organizations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate, prioritize, and plan work items to be handled during sprints and iterations
• Collaborate with development and QA throughout the design and deployment processes while establishing and maintaining standards to improve quality and delivery time.
• Lead, mentor, and coach junior team members.
• Collaborating with technology teams across EY Service Lines helping them implement a productized strategy, consuming existing components while also greatly enhancing velocity of products through reuse.

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal

• Demonstrate excellent technical & architecture skills in the context of cloud based global platform/product design, service management and product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn new and emerging technologies and developing a vision of their suitability and role as a new product within a platform & product landscape.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• 10+ Years? of relevant experience in SAP Hana Modelling and Analytics
• Should have experience on HANA modelling, graphical calculation view, scripted calculation view, also knowledge of HANA SQL.
• SAP HANA modelling and scripting experience including ability to write complex stored procedures and HANA views using SQL
• Administer data models in SAP HANA, including setting of information validation rules, managing schemas, the importing/exporting and transporting of data models.
• Apply advanced data modelling techniques, including currency conversion, variables and input parameters. Implement decision automation using business rules.
• Monitor, investigate and optimize data models and reporting performance on SAP HANA. Advise on modelling approach and tools to achieve optimum performance.
• Evaluate the impact of different implementation options such as table joins, aggregation, or filters. Understand the implication on performance of the various reporting tools and connection types
• Script to enhance the data models in SAP HANA using AFL, CE functions, and ANSI-SQL.
• Knowledge about the concept of authorization in SAP HANA, and implement a security model using analytic privileges, SQL privileges, pre-defined roles and schemas.
• Implement data models with SAP HANA using analytical and calculated views. Should be able to advice on the modelling approach and best practices.
• Ability to design and build complex workflows to facilitate various business requirements
• Should have knowledge on CDS view, embedded analytics
• Experience in data provisioning using smart data access/ smart data Quality (SDI/SDQ)
• Good to have HANA upgrade or migration project experience
• Good Understanding of ABAP, extractor enhancement, user exits, customer exits, ABAP on HANA coding principles and PL/SQL
• Must be experienced in developing BEx Queries and integration with BO reporting tools
• Responsible for root cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues
• Sound knowledge of data provisioning into the SAP HANA database using SLT, BODS bringing data from ECC and Flat files, BODS
• Good to have experience with visualization tools like Lumira, Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, Fiori
• Knowledge of SAP SLT
• Experience working with HANA Live.
• Excellent business communication skills
• Strong experience in DevOps and Cloud Software Delivery experience is preferred.
• Sound understanding of the SAP product roadmap.
• Ability to conceptualize and communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable manner.
