Job Description

CloudValley Solutions IT team is currently seeking highly talented and motivated individual for the position of Network & Security Engineer.A successful candidate will be engaged in the design, development, deployment and support for Cloud Valley Solutions in India & Manchi Group in Muscat networking and security infrastructure for their customers. This person will be confident working in a multi-vendor environment and will participate as a member of a dynamic team in the Oman.You can assume different problems, different devices, different architectures at each client and thus, unparalleled learning and growth.?All this would be with team members who share the same passion for learning and issue resolution. Company will also provide all the leading product trainings & certification for all the onboarded employees.?* Recommended to have valid a passport and willing to travel Muscat, Oman for onsite project executions.?Essential Job Functions

  • Make sure customers are treated with the highest degree of respect and drive operational excellence through quality closures
  • This is a hands-on technical role.
  • Independently own the Network Infrastructure support solving complex issues and suggest design modifications as appropriate.
  • Ensure SLAs are met
  • Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning for the Network platforms.
  • Perform monitoring and maintenance of the overall environment working with experienced team members.
  • Participate in product & network troubleshooting?s
  • Performance analysis & Root Cause Analysis.
  • Communicate with peers and managers regarding system issues
  • Generate reports on need basis.
  • Grow and maintain our customers Network Equipment?s, Firewalls, Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) & their VPN using both physical and virtual firewall appliances
  • Improve security in every implementation & changes
  • Customize, enhance and monitor WAN acceleration across our customers networks
  • Migration/Implementation of IPv6
  • Network management of several dozen switches (multi-vendor), related tools and management components
  • Further automation in the areas of network log aggregation, flow reporting, and change deployment
  • Take ownership of technically sophisticated customer-reported issues from web, phone, chat and email and work closely with the customer until complete resolution
  • Document relevant information and ensure the customer is communicated with in a timely manner regarding the overall progress of their issue?
  • Provide qualified information to Engineering so they can improve product quality and reliability
