Job Description

As a Social Media & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for planning and executing marketing plans for social media, digital, and offline marketing activities in line with the brand guidelines and company objectives.

  • Work directly with the marketing team to align on projects and ideas for social media
  • Implement the social media content strategy on all OLX pages
  • Create, execute, optimize and report on Social Media campaigns including following up on budgets
  • Content ideation and creation of engaging ideas with the in-house designer
  • Grow and enhance presence on existing platforms such as Facebook, , and Instagram as well as expand the company?s social media presence into new/relevant platforms
  • Support other departments such as the sales team with leads from social media campaigns through a planned approach
  • Maintain the platforms? hygiene: handle Community Management for the pages and engage with the online community by responding to comments and requests appropriately
  • Monthly reports identifying key insights with recommendations
  • Keep up with new trends on social media and apply the knowledge where necessary
  • Keep an eye out for competition and have ready plans to stay ahead of the game
  • Assist in planning for and preparing yearly events
  • Cover on-ground live events for OLX with interesting and engaging content
  • Handling the Blog content by setting topics with the team, posting them as per the schedule set, following up, and promoting relevant topics on social pages
  • Ensure alignment on topics for the blog, social pages, and running projects for homogeneous communication
  • Expand the company?s social media presence into new/relevant platforms if needed
